Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Baldwin's Swamp in Bundaberg Queensland Australia.

Time

I took this photo late morning while taking a quieten the mind wander. If was a hot day and being around the water and trees was beautiful.

Lighting

The day was perfect for creating reflections on the water and being late morning there were stark contrasts of light and shadows.

Equipment

I used my Canon PowerShot SX70 HS, with a UV filter.

Inspiration

After weeks of windy weather the day was relatively still and I was mesmerized by the reflections in the still water.

Editing

Apart from minor cropping of the image no post processing was needed.

In my camera bag

Apart from my camera, usually i have my UV, CPL, Variable HD Conversion Lenses and Macro 250 Lens. Also a remote shutter release for when my hands get too shaky.

Feedback

Always have a camera at hand, be it a full on Camera or your trusty Mobile Phone Camera hanging out in your pocket. The special moments happen when you least expect them
