A stunning morning, the fog mixed with the colours of the sunrise gave this beautiful scene a pop of colour that I had to capture

Some changing rooms on a beach decorated with a rainbow of colours, edited in a color pop style.

The ring neck parakeets are back nesting at my local nature reserve

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo inside a local reptile centre that my friend owns. It was a pretty scary shot as this guy is notoriously grumpy and I was using a 55mm lens so my head was literally inside its viv!!!

Time

It was around 2pm

Lighting

I used the lighting from the shop plus the lighting above the viv, no flash or other equipment was used

Equipment

Nikon d3300 and nikon 55mm kit lens

Inspiration

It's a beautiful snake and a great opportunity

Editing

I use dx optics Pro to edit all my photos

In my camera bag

I normally carry my nikon 55mm, tamron 200mm and sigma 300mm lenses plus multiple nd filters, uv filters and polarising filters just in case.
