This is one of my favorite images, the conditions weren't that good, the sun was already very high but I loved the scenery so I had to shoot it. This was taken August 15, 2007 at 10 AM.Lighting
I wanted to people to see exactly what I saw so I used HDR to be able to catch all the light spectrumEquipment
This was shot with a Canon 400D, with a EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, no other equipment was used.Inspiration
The incredible landscape scenes of this area of Portugal always inspire me, it's just so overwhelming and makes you feel so small!Editing
I had to develop the raw 2 times, one for the sky and another one for the rest, so that I could correct the balance, contrast and colorsIn my camera bag

The west coast of Portugal has a lot of these magnificent places, just be adventurous and search for them in your area and you will be rewarded with something like this, just pay attention with light, the light for landscape photography is always better at dawn or at dusk, so if you can try at those times of the day.
