Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken while I was at a personal workshop with Detroit photographer Miko Klubz with model Griselda Uvario… we were just outside the art museum and there was a field in the back with the golden hour approaching … I love nature light photography..

Time

This is one of my favorite photos that we take taken at the Detroit art museum at golden hour

Lighting

Golden hour … do I need to say anything more? It’s beautiful tone of day

Equipment

Canon 30d that I bought off eBay and cheap used lens …

Inspiration

I’ve always loved tall grass and the nature beauty of golden hour.. paired with my beautiful dark haired model

Editing

To be honest in this stage of my photography I was just starting out to photographing portraits before this I only shot landscaping so the only post processing I did was done in camera ( I switched the setting from color to b&w)

In my camera bag

Today I have a canon 5 D mark IV- I carry a song A7ii 70-200 2.8 mm and my fav lens is 24-70 2.8 mm.. two GoPros, Sony camcorder, iPhone 12 Pro Max and soon iPhone 13 pro max

Feedback

Don’t be afraid to just snap the picture, you can always delete it later if you don’t like it! I am a shutterbug I snap a lot and move around I call it photography yoga.. don’t be scared to move lay on the ground play with angels, lights, outside the box way of shooting and capturing.. your only limitations are what you place on your creative! Enjoy and snap away
