Nothing special. The clouds framed the upper tower especially well.

Equipment

i use a Nikon D7200. This was a day tour of a Viking river cruise so I was just doing hand held shots.

Inspiration

This castle complex is very well composed for one shot encompassing different levels of this hilltop royal castle.

Editing

This was originally shot in color. I used Photoshop editing to transform it into black and white.

In my camera bag

I have one preferred all purpose lens that I take on day trips. It is my Nikon 24/120 G zoom. The lens is fairly heavy so I generally use it when I am on a mostly bus tour.

Feedback

Needless to say this is a major tourist stop for river cruises. There we people walking and taking photos all up the hill leading to the castle. I tried to shoot high enough to eliminate them. Luckily the towers being on different levels makes this easy to do.
