This was taken in Berlin, in the heart of the city.Time
This was something I looked forward to a lot. I no longer live in Berlin but go back and forth a bit. Once I knew the project had been finished I made my way over there. I captured this in the middle of the day, blue skies all around ????Lighting
As with a lot of architecture, once I took the picture in color, bright and blue skies, I converted it to B&W which added that bit of wow factor.Equipment
Even though I shoot Canon, I actually shot this on my iPhone and love how it turned out.Inspiration
I’ve always had a thing for architecture, especially different angles. I love the shape, there is no other building in Berlin like it. Also, being able to look up, enabled me to show a side that most people would never see.Editing
I usually shoot raw but since this was taken on my iPhone I just added some basic touches to it and converted it to B&W.In my camera bag
Normally I have a Canon M3. I’ve a sigma 30mm f1.4, but my go to lens for most is my sigma 24-70 f2.8.Feedback
One of the things people underestimate is the “look up” factor. You never know what you’ll see so when I walk around places I regularly look up.
