My Father's Squadron, based at Lissett in Yorkshire England. They flew Halifax bombers. My father carried out 138 missions and was awarded the DFC. This is a photo of the memorial made of steel, with names transcribed of those that lost their lives. I caught it as the sun was going down, so as to get the feel of "being in their shadows"
