I did this session early afternoon so I could get a lot of natural lighting. I was hoping she would be sleepy but she was awake for the whole time. Luckily she was happy with us that day.Lighting
This was my very first newborn session ever! It also happens to be my granddaughter! I had so much fun with her pictures even though I really didn't know too much about what I was doing at the time.Equipment
This was shot using my Canon EOS, using the kit lens. No extra lighting was needed. I have her on an overstuffed bean bag with a blanket covering it.Inspiration

My bag is still pretty simple right now. Along with my camera I have two different lenses and a few lens filters. (I'm still a newbie at all of this)Feedback
Take pictures of everything and anything. Play with different settings and props. Also play around when doing post processing. Sometimes what you think will be a disaster ends up a masterpiece.
