The photograph was taken at Praia do Norte in Nazaré, Portugal. One day in October 2020 at the beginning of the big wave season.Time
It was an unexpected day, a swell of big waves came, I got in the car at dawn and did 200 klms, around 7.00AM I was already there. The beach already had a crowd waiting for surfers and big waves.Lighting
The light was good, with this photo what I intended was to show the magnitude of the wave putting people for comparison. Show the volume of water that is transported by a giant wave.Equipment
