it was afternoon but, using studio lights, it was not a problem.Lighting
i was trying a new light set up. I was using 2 lights. For me it was easier than usual because i was working with 3, 4 or 5 lights. This is to make my life easier.Equipment
i was using my Canon 1 series, in this shot the 1DS mk3, it's not a new camera but i love the files that it gives to me. No tripod, 1/125 the shutter speed..and 2 studio lights. One, in the front with an octagone and a snooth on the background.Inspiration
i love to have shooting with people. I started my "photographer" life with the pin up style..that i really like. After a while i started to do portraits, female portraits. Non i'm trying to find my light set up.Editing
i don't like the post-processing but i can't work without it. It's incredible but without it the picture are "flat". I'm meeting other photographers in the local clubs and, the post-processing is a step that you have to know. It's not easy to find your "own" workflow and it's not easy to become friends of the softwares for it.In my camera bag
it's since long time that i spend my life with the camera bag. I started with a minolta, still with the film inside, who was a present when i was at school. Now i still like the big DSLR, i have several serie 1 Canon. I started with the 1DS mk3 that i still use, i have a 1Dmk4 for sport shootings and a 1DX that is with me since few months. When i have a studio shooting i have the 1DS or DX, a 24-105 L series (i don't have enough money for a 85 f1.2) and i also have the EF 70-200 IS f2.8 and a EF 50 F4. Sometimes a lensbaby composer. When i'm on holiday or in a photo tour and i must be light, i have the 1DX, he 24-105, the 50f4 and a 35-350, an old lens but i love it!Feedback
it's not so hard to try this kind of picture. I have the sekonic to set the lights at the correct power, this is the secret.
