Once I had to visit an auto exhibition of vintage cars ... I literally fell into it and 4 hours flew by, like a few minutes - so I was captured by it. But the most interesting thing is that now from memory I cannot reproduce a number of car brands, because not an expert in this ... so do not ask me the interior of which car in this photo ... :)

This photo was taken in the pavilion at the "Motors of October" exhibition. In the city of Moscow, Russia. October 1 or 2, 2020. I accidentally found out about him when I was looking for where to go to photograph and just relax. Here is their page https://automuseum.ru/Time
It was evening. The pavilion is closed, i.e. heated ...Lighting
The refreshment was very difficult. Hidden point light sources similar to LED and laser lighting. The cars were polished to a shine and reflections were everywhere.Equipment
Nikon D750 camera, Nikkor AF-S 85 mm /1.8 lens Handheld shooting, no flash or tripod. They were allowed to shoot, but I couldn't use a tripod - a very large exposure of cars, but I wanted to shoot as much as possible.Inspiration
The exhibition itself! There are so many rare cars and the decorators have worked so professionally and with a soul that you immerse yourself in a time when these cars were driving and making people happy. I wanted to capture exactly the past, that spirit and that time, to catch it on myself. Photos of the cars themselves from the outside will not give such an effect anyway, as immersion in a car interior.Editing
Yes. There was post-processing, but very little ... no presets or special effects. Brightness, microcontrast, exposure parameters .. that's probably the whole post processing. In my camera bag
Camera, 2-3 lenses, lens and matrix cleaning brush. I only have three lenses now. Nikkor 85mm / 1.8, Helios 44m-5 - an old Soviet lens with a stunning picture and Tamron 300mm /5.6 SP. That's all my photography equipment. The flash and tripod are often left at home. I have more street photos ...Feedback
I prefer lenses with a fixed focal length. Zoom lenses are distracting by the fact that you are trying to frame the frame with the zoom, and the time goes away and the thought flies away. For those who want to repeat this, I can advise you not to be distracted during the shooting process, to immerse yourself in it ... it may be corny, but in my case it helps.
