Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was takin during a day hike at Glenn Ricketts State Park located in eastern Pennsylvania of the U.S.

Time

We arrived at this waterfall shortly after noon, about half way through our hike. It was an extremely humid day and managed to capture this shot right before the rain hit. One of many beautiful falls located on the trail.

Lighting

I captured this image for what it was. The natural lighting this day was perfect all around. I view it as a soft, welcoming type of vibe. I feel like this image somewhat captures the essence of what this place really invites.

Equipment

Reluctant to bring my Nikon into such humid conditions, with surprise, this photo was actually shot on my IPhone 11.

Inspiration

I love capturing places that can deliver a sense of feeling. Weather it be peace, adventure, motivation. I’d like to think some of my photos speak to a lot of emotions I experience.

In my camera bag

Normally, I carry my Nikon dslr 3200 with just my 18-55mm lense. If I know I’ll be taking more close ups, I pack my magnifying lense.

Feedback

Personally, I find the most interest in raw images. Where they capture the truth.
