fun shot.
See all

Behind The Lens

Location

In my home studio in getafe, Madrid

Time

Best time w/ kids in general is during the mornings, when they are still "willing" (if they decide to do so) to cooperate, easy to drive them wherever you wanna lead the shooting

Lighting

Pretty simple speedlight setting, 1 main light using a difuser pretty close to the subject and 1 background (behind the cloth) to simulate natural light coming from a window. Some cases i use a grid to point at the back head opposite side from the main light.... but not in that case

Equipment

6D Canon, with a 50mm 1.8 lcanon lens

Inspiration

How fun my own kids like when it´s time for their bath

Editing

Little corrections, not big deal really

In my camera bag

Canon lenses 50 mm 1.8, 85 mm 2.8 Macro, 24-70 2.8, and 70-200 2.8... and some speedlights.... just in case!

Feedback

Keep it simple, sometimes is better to do it right than adding multiple variables that makes it more difficult to control, one step at a time and add variables when really needed
