Location

the photo was taken on the Isle of Mull off the west coast of scotland.. i walked into the hills after being pointed in the general direction and came across the cemetary in the middle of nowhere, a fantastic find. i take pictures to capture my great exploring adventures around beautiful Argyll.

Time

the photo was taken early evening but felt being in black and white captured the cold and desolate location beautifully.

Lighting

not really... just a standard black and white capture.

Equipment

small cannon digital, perfect for slipping into your pocked when off walking.

Inspiration

i love old graveyards, the stones often at jaunty angles, overgrown and covered with lichen and moss.

Editing

not really. adjusted the sharpness a tiny bit.

In my camera bag

pocket sized digital cannon.

just look around you and if there is something in your vision you think is special enough to capture for the future then snap it...you would regret not having it to look at later on.
