Location
This photo was taken on one of the back street in Pompeii, off the beaten tourist route.Time
This was during the late morning 11:30 am.Lighting
Being the sun at its highest part of the day, I wanted very little shadows.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D3300, with 18-200mm at 1/2500s -f/5.Inspiration
I wanted to show how the streets were constructed, being well made after so many years they still look like the oxen carts are still traveling on them.Editing
Very little post-processing, usually in LR bring out the highlights and shadows. In my camera bag
Normally I carry two cameras, presently I carry a Nikon D7500 and a D7200, 18-300mm, 10-24mm, and a prime 35mm. It all depends on what when and where I shoot.Feedback
Hardest part of taking shots of historical locations is finding the spot where no tourist ruin a good shot.
