I took this photo off my porch in Texas; in October. “MamaRose” stood tall and proud.Time
It was early evening, late afternoon when I noticed her. I had been by the rose bush probably 500 times that day.Lighting
I pay no attention to lighting details per se. If I see something that catches my curiosity, I capture it.Equipment
I have no equipment aside from my phone and my eye.Inspiration
“MamaRose” inspired me to take her photo. She was destined to be great.Editing
I did no editing to the photo. I try not to filter or edit the photos as much as possible so as not to take away from their natural look.In my camera bag
I don’t use large, expensive lenses or cameras. I don’t carry things that weigh me down. I use my phone because it’s the one thing I have on me at all times. I can capture whatever I want in a second.Feedback
The way I capture what I see is by adjusting my body to adjust my angle. I also zoom in until I see the actual size of the object on my screen the best I can.
