Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a lonely and peaceful place when i was exploring the city of Angkor in Cambodia. Was a very rainy day but in the middle of the day i found a little pause and the sun finally gave me some colors to find this mirror in the lake.

Time

i was trying to find a good light all the day. The cloudy and rainy day was eternal but in some moment, a pause in that intense grey tones day changed. This little pause gave me the oportunity to find more contrast and the blue appears in the middle of the lake. Is not the typical photo in angkor but after a long rainy season, those blue and green colors and the contrast were a gift

Lighting

This photo for me is a pause, peace in the middle of a place with so many spots of history. The weather in southeast asia and the big and deep nature always share with us that calm that have a representation in the quiet water of that lake

Equipment

I was shooting with a Canon EOS 7D mark II and a Sigma Lens 17-70mm f2,8

Inspiration

The peace, the calm, the mantras in the temples, that deep quiet and deep sensation of infinite horizons

Editing

Usually i work with Lightroom to give a little more contrast and some balance in the colors

In my camera bag

Usually i use the same camera, my canon EOS 7D mark II and a sigma lens 17-70 f2,8. In the trekking days i usually use a canon 18-135 stm

Feedback

Just to have peace and to be patient for wait the changes in the light of a day.
