This photo was taken at a campground near Kipton Ohio. I have had a love for photography for many years but just back into it a few months ago.Time
It was later in the afternoon and I had taken my camera to the campground just to get a few pictures of family and friends as it was closing for the season. I started walking around and really noticed how beautiful everything was around me. When I turned the power on the camera I wanted to capture the simple things and how beautiful things are when you stop just for a second and look around you.Lighting
There was nothing used for the lighting in this photo. The natural lighting was perfect.Equipment
This photo was taken with a Canon D7 using a UV filter. I never really use a tripod or anything else. I like to keep things simple and try not to alter the photos I take much.Inspiration
I wanted to capture some of the little things that we all sometimes take for granted. There is beauty everywhere. We just have to take a second take a deep breath and look around to see it . The road ahead may look long but there is beauty and light traveling it.Editing
In this picture the only thing that was done is I made the colors pop just a little bit more. It only took a few seconds. Keeping it simple and keeping the photo just as it was taken. In my camera bag
I pack everything with me. Filters , different lens types, camra cleaning kit, extra SD cards just to name a few. But I never really change the lens, or use any filters other than the UV.Feedback
Keep it simple. Look around you and see the beauty it has without needing to do much to a photo.
