Behind The Lens

Location

The place was in the deep inside of Dal-Lake in Kashmere, India.

Time

It was almost a dawn around 5.50 am in that paradise.

Lighting

Just the soft morning glow of the reflective ambiance of pre-sunrise.

Equipment

Nikon D7000 with Nikkor 10-24 f/3.5-4.5.

Inspiration

The ambiance itself was enchanting enough to try couple of shots. Additionally, the characters with the legacy-habits, added the element of not to miss the canvas.

Editing

The basic post-processing was for converting from Raw and then the primary cardinals like Brightness/Contrast, Levels, Curves & to some extent Vibrance sliders were modified.

In my camera bag

Since my tour to Kashmere was like visiting a well-known tourist place being away from home for couple of days, I loaded my bag with both the bodies Nikon D700 & D7000 and Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200 f/4 and 10-24 f/3.5-4.5 and a circular polariser filter.

Feedback

It was almost a Landscape perspective. So while I was in that place, my intense observation was for accumulating the quintessential aspects in the canvas so that the flavours did remain faithful forever. Additionally when I found this fishing couple in their traditional lifestyle, I tried to include them as they used to be engaged in their daily struggle by default.
