Location
Taken on the River Dart Dartmoor.Time
Taken about 9.30amLighting
The sun popped out lighting up the Autumnal colour on the trees. Slow shutter use to create a sense of movement in the water.Equipment
Nikon D500 Lee. 9 soft grad & 6stop natural density filters. Manfrotto 055 carbon tripod.Inspiration
I just love the every changing conditions on Dartmoor from heavy rain & wind to the calm and peaceful moments like in this image.Editing
Levels.,curves adjustments, vibrance, saturation boost the small bit of sharpening. In my camera bag
Camera, Lee filters, sigma 10/20mm wide angle lens, nikon 16/80mm f2.8. Spare batteries, lens wipes, shutter release cable, polarizer. Oh and my packed lunch.Feedback
Use the sun to give punch to the colours but not direct light. Slow shutter speed to add movement to water and try a use a element of the scenery to lead the viewers through the image if you can.
