Location
This photo was taken in front of my neighbour’s yard. The trees across the street were at peak colour and accentuated the colour of the truck. The green of the cedar hedge just added an extra element of colour and texture.Time

This was taken with my Nikon D7000, 50mm prime lens, f11, 1/30 sec., ISO 220. Held freehand and in a low crouch position.Inspiration
I wanted to simply capture a photo of this beautifully restored antique vehicle, but when I saw where the vehicle was parked, I was struck by the perfect combination of colours and angles that I saw.Editing

I always carry my 18-105 kit lens and my 50mm prime. I have a Nikon SD700 flash and my Nikon D7000 camera.Feedback
Always keep your eyes open to the possibilities that are all around you. There is often no need to stray too far from home to capture some exciting shots! (In this case it was right next door!!) Always have your camera (or cellphone) ready to capture what you see at a moment’s notice. It’s that continuous practice that allows you to see things others may not notice.
