Location

This photo was taken in a city park outside my place, in Vancouver BC, Canada

Time

Me and the model ( my niece) decided to go for walk and she wanted to learn how to use a camera so I took a few shots of her and she’s took a few of me.

Lighting

The natural light wasn’t great because it was raining- typical of Vancouver- but turning her face towards the little bit of sunshine helped illuminate her.

Equipment

Here I used only a 35mm lens on a Canon Mark5

Inspiration

Her eyes. They are icy in the right light and I wanted nature and her eyes to be the focal points

Editing

I brightened her eyes a bit in post

In my camera bag

I normally have a 50mm and a 35mm as staples

Feedback
