A little bit of Italy. After a huge day walking all over Rome I came across a food market near a bridge somewhere near Altare della Patria. They sold all sorts, this rainbow caught my eye. One of my favourite food shots. I had just finished a season in the Arctic so the warm weather and food experience in this great city was a a joy. It was my first camera no more than a year old.Time
It was early evening and we were worn out, I remember that. Spending way to long in the market. After which I caught a great shot of the full moon between a lion and a building somewhere...maybe I could find that shot.Lighting
Nothing special, I just took the shot. I am a bit of a zoom in head so, I zoomed in.Equipment
canon 450d tamarind 70-300 lense. As advised for my polar bear and penguin shots by the great Rolf Strange. Polar guide and photographer.Inspiration
It was such a great display of vegetable. Love that being a chef. Not having the choice or colours onboard and expedition ship in the Arctic, this was a treat.Editing
Only slight colour enhancement. It needed nothing else.In my camera bag
Spare battery and a pen.Feedback
Follow your heart, take the shot. Don't beat yourself up about what's right or wrong. It's your art, love it. People have very different tastes, enjoy the moments and the time with your camera. You'll be surprised what is loved.
