Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my studio located in my house. I live in a little town near Bergamo, Italy

Time

The photo was taken during the afternoon, I've used a led continuous light.

Lighting

I wanted to replicate the first light in the morning like when you wake up and the light enters in the bedroom through the window.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D810 with a Sigma art 50mm 1,4f

Inspiration

The mood of the model inspire me this shoot, Bianca dressing a lingerie like a pajamas during a warm night.

Editing

I did a post-processing in Photoshop and Lightroom. I usually post-produce the photos with a soft touch, I clear the image from the little defects and adjust the colors, lights and shadows. I wanted preserve a natural view of the photo. The post-producing doesn't have to be invasive, but only a little adjustment for the final result.

In my camera bag

There is not much equipment in my bag. Obviously my camera Nikon D810 and the Sigma art 50mm 1,4f, a Nikon 28mm 2,8f, a Sigma 105mm 2,8f, a couple of batteries and some memory cards.

Feedback

The most important thing for this kind of shooting is the empathy with the model. About the technic, the light is the key to replicate the moment and the emotion on the set.
