Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the highlands of Scotland, on Loch Fyne.

Time

The time of day was about midday

Lighting

The lighting was just perfect, no sunshine, just a bit overcast, weather was very still, no wind, and dry too.

Equipment

My equipment for this shoot was Nikon D7200, lens, Nikkor, 24-120mm 3.5-5.6 no tripod, hand held only

Inspiration

When I was driving past Loch Fyne, I was looking for inspiration and I just happened to see this small bridge that I just drove across, the colour and calmness of everything around at the time was just perfect, and I wanted to show the world what Scotland looks like.

Editing

Just natural , nothing added.

In my camera bag

I always carry Nikon, D7200,7100, sigma lens, and Nikkor.

Feedback

My advice would be, just drive or walk around, and photograph everything, but most of all, ENJOY Ps, I’m a former Royal Marines Commando, disabled due to a bomb blast in 1980, photography helps my PTSD.
