Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Taman Safari Indonesia in Bogor, Indonesia, when I visited there with my friends, animal lovers

Time

This is one of my favorite photos because of its rare moments. I took this photo at noon before 12 o'clock on September 20, 2019

Lighting

This photo relies solely on natural light because it was taken in nature. Do not use flash as there are restrictions on it

Equipment

Photo taken with a Canon EOS 6D camera, with Tamron SP 150-600mm F / 5-6.3 lens Di VC USD A011. The only other equipment I use is the Prophoto tripod.

Inspiration

To get this photo I had to wait long enough for the right moment, a unique moment that makes people interested.

Editing

In order for this photo to be more attractive, I processed it with Photoshop. I only edited the saturation to brighten the colors, gave vignettes to make the main object more prominent, then dodged and burned to make the object clearer.

In my camera bag

When it comes to photo hunting, the equipment I bring is a Canon EOS 6D camera, a Canon 24-105mm lens, a Canon 16-35mm lens and a Tamron 150-600mm lens. Also flash if needed and the Prophoto tripod

Feedback

If you want to take pictures of chimpanzees or other primates at a zoo or safari park, you should use a long enough telephoto lens, so that we can take pictures from a distance away and don't overcrowd with other zoo or safari park visitors. Don't forget to use a tripod so that your hands don't get tired of holding the camera and telephoto lens which is quite heavy. In addition, we have to wait patiently for unique moments from chimpanzees and other primates
