Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken when I visited Prague 6 years ago. It's one of the windows in the Church of Our Lady before Tyn in the main squarer in old town Prague.

Time

This was taken on 10 October at 5:51 pm. We where going to catch the metro back to the hotel and we where passing by the Church when I saw the big windows and made the shot.

Lighting

It was the end of the day in October so the light was fading fast and the clouds helped to have a nice effect in the sky.

Equipment

This was taken with a Canon EOS 1100D with a EF-S18-55mm lens and no other equipment.

Inspiration

We where going to catch the metro back to the hotel and we where passing by the Church when I saw the big windows and made the shot.

Editing

Yes I edited in Adobe Lightroom using a HDR blend preset.

In my camera bag

When I travel I usually have my camera Canon EOS 1100D with a EF-S18-55mm lens or EF50mm lens. I like to be mobile and don't usually carry a tripod. I use a tripod if I go and shoot landscapes.

Feedback

My advice, always look up, so many of my photos are of something that is up from our view point. I'm an architect by profession so I love to shoot architecture when I travel and that usually means I need to look up.
