Behind The Lens

Location

Cape Hatteras, NC

Time

This was taken in the evening around 9/10 pm

Lighting

There was very little lighting other then the moon which was behind my subject, so slowed my shutter speed down. The moon was out so I had to wait for clouds to cover so the image didn't get washed out by the moon.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D5100 30 sec @ f/4.2, ISO 1600, 26mm, on a tripod

Inspiration

Been working on my night photography.

Editing

I used LRC to edit my exposure and small details.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5100, Nikkor lens 18-55mm lens, Nikkor 55-200 lens, macro lense, telephoto lens, Yongnu flash, extra battery, cleaning kit

Feedback

Just keep trying and playing with your settings. I would recommend taking weather into account, it was high winds when I took this creating a little camera shake even with my tripod weighted
