This was September 9th 2020 at Indian rocks beach Florida. Absolutely love Indian Shores its our second home. I could just take pictures all day and be happy. Weather changes so fast there.Time
This was taken around 7 pm sunset. Luckily where we stay every year is right on the beach and see every sunset if we make it in time. Every sunset is so unique. Storms come and go with the wind.Lighting
This shot is a little overcast. I lowered the highlights to bring out the texture of the clouds and lighted the shadow a little but not much needed for this.Equipment
This was shot from my Samsung Galaxy A51 in panarama mode. Its a newer phone. Its not bad a little slower than I am use to. Best phone I have had is the the Samsung S6. Last year in Florida there was a bad storm and lightning struck close by and damaged the camera of my phone. The lighting was all off after. Everytime sun would hit the phone everything was green in picture.Inspiration
This storm inparticular stayed out there and never made it to shore. The flow of the clouds with the rain pouring at different points of the storm is awesome. And the thunder that you cant hear was amazing as well.Editing
I usually use instagram to "photo fix" which is usally just lowering the highlights if the picture is too bright around clouds. And raise the shadow to enhance the lower lighting areas. In my camera bag
I usually use my phone and keep a ziploc baggy around just in case of rain. Everything I take is on the go. I do bring a Nikon d3500 but haven't got use to it yet to use it in a hurry.Feedback
When trying to shoot panarama i would recommend locking in your shoulders and arms.Move with your body rather than moving phone with arms. Go slow. If your pictures are pixelated it means you turned your phone. Try to in envision a straight horizontal line gets you the clearest pictures.
