Thomas Alma Moulton and family established a homestead on Antelope Flats, tending the land and building structures from 1912 to 1945. The classic peaked-roof barn mirrors the cathedral-like spires of the Teton Range. The mood of the barn changes day-by-day, hour-by-hour as weather conditions change. Each change in the scene creates a new visual narrative. The Moulton family sold the property to the National Park Service. Today, Mormon Row offers visitors to Grand Teton National Park a glimpse into the early ranch life in Jackson Hole.T. A. Moulton's rustic barn provides a popular foreground element for artists and photographers seeking to capture the majesty of Grand Teton and its surrounding peaks.
