Location
The photo was taken along the Canada / USA border in an area known as the Pembina Valley in the province of Manitoba. I am lucky enough to live about 15 minutes from this location.Time
The photo was taken around noon, mid September. The changing leaves were at their prime. So many colors.Lighting
Just a beautiful fall day. Mother Nature at her best.Equipment
Canon SX730HS. Simple point/shoot. I chose this camera because it's good quality for a compact point & shoot. The camera is always in my saddle bag, ready to pull out for quick shots.Inspiration
The colors, the hill is relatively steep and watching the people / horses navigate it. I was on gate duty so before getting back on I took this picture.Editing
I don't do any post processing on any of my photos. Since I'm not a professional photographer I'm only concerned with the memories. In my camera bag
My cell phone (don't use it often to take pictures) and my Cannon point/shoot.Feedback
I am about making memories, not perfection. To me the perfect picture is one that takes me back to the moment that I took it. Most of my photos are taken from the back of a horse. I'm lucky to be able to go places that most can't. If you see something that you want to remember, capture it, it only has to be perfect for you. If, by sharing your pictures others can enjoy them, then that's a bonus.
