Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Brussels in front of the old justice palace There you have an amazing view of the city and its old town. It is definitely a good idea to start the night here before you go down for diner and so on.

Time

The best photographic time of the day: The Blue hour. The sun was down, the night not ready yet.

Lighting

See the information at what time of the day. I just really loved the super white light of the ferris wheel it makes the perfect fitting contrast to the dark and blue light of the city ambiente.

Equipment

The camera I used is a Nikon D750. The lenss is the standard for this model: Nikon VR 24-120

Inspiration

There was nothing so much in inspiring me, just walking around a city and going where it looks interesting.

Editing

For me the best is to have almost nothing to do in post-processing, it is soo time-consuming. I made just very little adjustments like contrast and a little sharpening in Lightroom.

In my camera bag

It really depends on where I go. When walking around in the city, the best is to have just the camera and one lens. Most times a 35mm lens. But when I go out with the intention to make the" one" photo, then I also have a tripod, a lot of lights, LEDs, sparklers etc with me. And of course some more lenses.

Feedback

Nothing in special :-)Just keep the eyes and your mind open and be always inspired!
