Took this while flying back to Kabul after a few days in the east of the country.

Looking across Clark Island to Sydney city.

Location

The photo was taken at my home in Sydney.

Time

If I remember rightly it was in the afternoon.

Lighting

Nothing in particular, I just tried to not have to much glare coming in around my sons head.

Equipment

Nothing special, I took the photo using my Samsung S10 smartphone.

Inspiration

I saw a banner for an art competition which had the theme 'postcards from home' due to the lock downs that were happening and I knew straight away what I wanted to capture.

Editing

Nothing major, I knew I wanted black and white over colour, so it was just a matter of finding the right shades.

In my camera bag

Just a phone in my pocket.

Feedback

Getting kids to do exactly what you want is hard, so patience is what you need.
