A month ago, I went out to the European side of Turkey called Taksim Square where it is a beautiful area with graffiti, huge shopping centers and delicious food! I decided to go and photograph some street photography where to be honest... I was not sure if I should edit these photos in color or black and white but seeing how classy it is with being greyscale where I am realizing it is time to get into my photography more than ever when I was in middle school having no idea that this would be something I would become good at years later into my adult life.

Taksim Square is a historic area in Turkey that it was originally the point where the main water lines from the north of Istanbul were collected and branched off to other parts of the city (hence the name.)

This was used for the area that was established by Sultan Mahmud I. The square takes its name from the Ottoman era stone reservoir which is located in this area from these photographs. Many people don’t know but Turkey is pretty much a country that has a lot of history that would leave you completely breathless especially it being the first country to become Catholic before turning Islamic.
