I took it in San Francisco by the Bay Bridge around Pier 7. I wanted to capture the super moon and the bridge right below it.Time
My daughter and I drove to SF after dinner to watch the supermoon and take a nice photo of the bridge. It was right around 8:30pm when we arrived at the Ferry Building then we walked to Pier 7. This is the first time I have seen the area empty. I found a perfect spot close to the bridge to capture both the Supermoon and the bridge.Lighting
Street lighting was yellowEquipment
I used Canon EOS DLSR with my 24-70 lens. I did a long exposure for this shot.Inspiration
I took my landscape photography lessons and was inspired to put it in practice. I thought since it's rare to witness supermoon event, I took it an opportunity to drive to the city and capture it next to the bay bridge. The whole area had an eerie vibe because it was empty which was not typical of the city. I had the whole Pier 7 almost to myself and my daughter when we took this photo.Editing
I used lightroom App which is my usual go-to App. I love that I can enhance the colors. In my camera bag
I have my tripod, camera, lens, lens cleaner, shutter release cable, extra camera battery, SD cardsFeedback
Having a clear vision of what you want to accomplish is key. Always learn and apply what you've learn. Practice makes progress and do not be afraid to make mistakes. Also, do not compare yourself to others because your art is your own creative product as long as you are happy with the result, you should be proud of your own photos!
