This photo was taken in the Tatuio indigenous community, on the banks of the Negro river, in the Amazon.Time
The photo shows one of the malocas of the community and was taken in January 2020, at 01:26 PM, during a tour when my wife and I were in Manaus for the New Year parties.Lighting
I did not use filters, artificial lighting or special lenses. I like to photograph like this, capturing only the moment.Equipment
For this photo I used my Xiaomi smartphone, model Redmi 7A.Inspiration
My main interest is always the culture in the places I visit, on business or pleasure - the buildings, ways of life, music and dances, the people ... In this photo, particularly, what motivated me was the angle of view, from the bottom up, showing (for me) the true dimension of the collective maloca of the Tatuios.Editing
In general I do not make changes to the photos, I like to present the images in the light of that moment. At most I make small adjustments when it gets too dark, or too light, just to highlight a few details.In my camera bag
At the moment I am without a camera, but with a new cell phone also Xiaomi, model Redmi 9A. But I always carry my old Sony handycam, and the Panasonic camcorder with a tripod and microphones to record parties and other events. I have short films on my YouTube page.Feedback
In the Amazon everything is beautiful and dino of registration, with a light that changes in each location or time of day, its exuberant nature, and unique events that deserve our registration and sharing with the world through this wonder that is the internet.
