I mean really looking at this year... it’s been a hell of a year and I thought 2016 was a bad year (for me) but compare to 2020, it looks like it was a kindergarten breakup???? (totally not funny. This is serious!!!) Wow a lot of things have definitely happened this year. First with the pandemic, then the lockdown, then the economic crash now the revolution.
This artwork illustrates the hope we have for the coming years because now the world is going through MAJOR changes and If we build the world exactly the way it was, what a magnanimous disappointment that would be. The empty, broken space helmet floating at sea represents the world right now, in its brokenness but the flowers represent the change that the world would have to grow into. The butterfly represents the goodness and the potential of more love in the world. The rainbow represents Hope, hope for a new world where there is peace and everyone is respected and treated equally
