Location

The photo was taken near my home. I am a self taught photographer and love taking food photos and close up photos

Time

Its one of my best photos. It was a frosty morning and sun had just come up. I was walking to drop my kid off to school and loved every bit of the frosty morning. While returning from school took these pictures. Did spend an hour around my house and school for best shot.

Lighting

I didn’t had to do much about lighting as the photo was taken in natural light. The sun was just up and its warm rays were all over. The frost was shining and reflecting which made it look so beautiful. Had to capture the narrow rays on the melting frost.

Equipment

While rushing to school I hurriedly picked my iPhone. It was so beautiful outside that couldn’t resist taking photos. I have iphone 6s plus.

Inspiration

We recently migrated to US and it was my first winter here. A very first experience with frost and snow. Loved every winter morning, and this was one of those loved days. Was glad and happy that i took this picture.

Editing

Didn’t do any post processing! But did take the picture in original color format and monochromatic format.

In my camera bag

Can’t move around without my phone, so I always have my iPhone with me. Its the apple of my eye!

Feedback

Here on the west coast its not much of snow, but whatever we get its always picturesque with lovely mornings. I love taking close shot pictures but it’s totally upto you. Take pictures from your heart and eye.
