Because of the pandemic, I've been working from home since 03-2020. This has made my beloved brown tiger tabby rescue Geddycat extremely happy. From the time he was a kitten & I brought him home, his favourite sleeping spot-position is on me in as close as get can get to me. On this particular day, he was laying on my leg wrapped around my laptop & purring his heart out. I have to admit, Geddycat is one of the best parts of working from home. He offers comfort & stress relief when dealing with difficult customers.

This was taken at home in Mesquite, TX, USA.Time
I'm not too sure of time of day, but I am sure that it was during our regular business hours & I was either on break or lunch or the phones were really slow at that particular time....Lighting
Nothing special about the lighting as it was taken near my bedroom window & the miniblinds were open. The sun was shining so no flash was needed.Equipment
I just used my Samsung A20 phone camera, which is actually a pretty decent camera. It was on the auto setting.Inspiration
My beloved Geddybears is probably one of the most photographed cats ever...LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! It was just a typical day & one in a long line of similar days of working at home since the pandemic altered everyone's lives forever. As my day job is as a customer service/claim specialist for a long term care {nursing home/assisted living/home health care} insurance company, I usually have to handle some rough calls. I'm lucky to be able to work from home & I am grateful that my Geddycat stays close to do what he does best: purrs his magical purr and smile his magic smile. Most of the time, this helps me get through the day.Editing
Nope...one of the rare occasions that I did not do any post-processing. The lighting was good & the color was accurate. In my camera bag
Most of the time, I use my camera phone. It's always with me & it's always handy. :-)Feedback
Just live in the moment... Sometimes, we try too hard or try take shots that are 'too precious...' Also, keep your eyes & senses open and stay observant to little things and moments.
