QASR AL WATAN is Abu Dhabi's magnificent Presidential Palace. It can be located on the grounds of Ras Al Akhdar. The Presidential compound covers an impressive 380,000 square metres (that's the size of 30 football fields) . You will find the Presidential Palace immediately adjacent to Emirates Palace. Once inside, guests can explore exhibitions celebrating Arabic customs as well as experience a spectacular night show, which is held every evening.
The interior is decorated using white, yellow and blue to signify the landscape of the region, consists of a number of grand areas including the grand Great Hall as well as a room filled with items gifted to the UAE president by various countries around the world. The most arresting feature is The Great Hall and its central dome. Standing 60 metres above the ground and boasting a diameter of 37 metres, this meticulously crafted dome is one of the largest in the world, and a true marvel to behold.
