REVEILLE VII - Texas A and M University Mascot.

There has been a Reveille as Mascot at the university since
1931. The present mascot (2020) is Reveille IX. When she
passes away, she will be buried, as all of them have been, in
a cordoned-off area facing the scoreboard in front of the
football stadium so she will know the scores of the games.
Reveille, a Lassie Collie, is known as The First Lady of
Aggieland and is the highest ranking officer in the Corps of
Cadets. She lives on campus in the dorm housing the cadets.
One cadet is honored each year as Reveille’s handler, and
she goes to classes every day with that cadet. If Reveille
barks during a class, the class is dismissed.
