Location
This was taken in my backyard garden in which grow a mass of coneflowers.Time
I setup my camera mid-morning and the picture was taken at noon.Lighting
The lighting was perfect although it was the butterfly who was responsible for the time of day.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon Coolpix P500 with a tripod. I hope to upgrade in the near future.Inspiration
At times we have a cloud of butterflies flitting around our flowers and I thought catching one at work would make a good picture.Editing
No post-processing. I have Jasc-Pro but am not adept at using it.In my camera bag
At present all I have is a Nikon Coolpix P 500 and spare batteries.Feedback
This shot took patience. I set it up beforehand and watched the flower while I worked close by. I approached the scene with great caution when it landed.
