I am a self taught photographer, for around five years i have been shooting At home within a six by four foot space!, within only a section of my bedroom to work with and two roller backdrops, i wanted a low key kind of look with this photograph so i also made a flash gun modifier with an old tube and black card to concentrate the light on my eye, i also used the Canon WiFi and NFC connectivity application on my phone to take this portrait, as its a self portrait i still need the full control over the cameras settings too(and lighting) when im stood in front of the lens! If it wasnt for the app, my images would be ok, but not as sharp which is something i strive for, sharp and quality even though i do the makeup and lighting myself which is exhausting some days as i also have psoratic arthritis and fibromyalgia. Which can make it a challenge nonetheless one worth taking most days its a passion that wont leave my veins regardless of any pain i may have...Time
