Location
This photo was taken from one of the endless portal facades in the magic town of Álamos, Sonora, Mexico. This city is known also as "The City of Portals".Time
It was in between seasons, while it's not quite hot or cold, just the perfect time in march or april. The sun was in the perfect angle, in the morning, maybe 11 o'clock.Lighting
I wanted to bring the mistycity of this magic town by shooting an open door, but no people around, as if it's abandoned, and the light bringing sharp shadows, framing the edges of every shape.Equipment
I used a Sony Alpha 37, with a normal 18-55 mm lens.Inspiration
I was trying to frame the beauty of this town, and bring it's ageging, and beauty.Editing
I just rotate a little bit because by hand I took the photo a little bit crooked. In my camera bag
I'm a simple street photographer, so I bring the elemental always: my Canon T7, a 18-55 mm, maybe a tripod and sometimes a reflector, but rarely using it.Feedback
I just shoot everything that catches my eye. Sometimes, in the intense sunlight of my city, I didn't even can see on the LCD screen what I'm shooting exactly, but I hope for the best always. The beauty is in the most common things we commonly take for granted every day.
