Lake San Isabel near Rye Colorado. The grass and trees were so green and reflected beautifully in the water. The lake is surrounded by Colorado mountains. The water was still and families were enjoying the day fishing by the shoreline, which can can be walked around on small trails around the lake. The Aspen and Pine trees line the dense forest that surround the lake. I took this picture with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone while on a day trip with my husband and daughter. We drove to the mountains to take pictures and I was able to get some fabulous pictures.

This photo was taken at Lake San Isabel in Rye Colorado. It was day trip my husband, daughter and I took. We were enjoying the beauty of the day, it was a cool but yet warm Colorado day. The mountains, trees and mountain grasses were so green. The reflection on the water was so dramatic. We hiked part way around the lake taking pictures along the way. Families were fishing along the shore, the water was still and looked like glass.Time
This photo was taken in July around 2:00 pm in the afternoon. It was somewhat overcast and cloudy.Lighting
The day was overcast but yet pleasant. The wind was still and the water looked like a mirror with the reflections of the green grass and trees.Equipment
I took this picture with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone.Inspiration
The scene of the family on shore fishing across the way, the green field grass, the pine and aspen trees were stunning. It was a stunning scene and just had to be captured in a photo. The mountain in the background peaking above the trees just drew my eye and I took the picture. I was amazed at how well it looked.Editing
I did not do any processing of this photo. In my camera bag
I always have my Samsung Galaxy S10+ phone with me which takes awesome pictures. My husband bought me a Canon EOS 2000D camera for Christmas last year and I have been practicing taking pictures with it. So when we go out on road trips I have both my phone and my camera with me.Feedback
If you are out and about and you see something that you think would make a great picture, just take it. Try different angles. Try getting up close to your subject if you can. Take more than one picture of the same thing if you have to. Hold your camera as still as possible and snap that that picture.
