I had been practicing photographing the moon for some time and it seemed like everyone and their brother has posted images of this celestial body in one form or another. I wanted to create something different as well as challenge my artistic skills. This was the resulting image.
The photo capture process was a three hour period in which I took 138 shots at regular intervals. I used Photoshop to select the best in progression, make slight bright-contrast and hue-sat adjustments and finally placed the images on a blank canvas to create the final output.
I am proud of this image and i hope you all enjoy it.
