CiCi the Cicada

I was hanging out in my living room late one night, when something hit our sliding glass doors. So loud it sounded like someone through a baseball at the door. I didnt think much else about it. The next morning, I go out side to find this Cicada on the floor of my deck right by my doors. Then it occured to me that it was probably the noise we had heard that night. Poor thing was still alive, but seemed like it was having trouble moving its legs in the right way to get up an walk. (As hard as it hit the glass I'm sure he was pretty stunned) so firguring it probanly eouldnt survive, I kept it in my herb garden, and worked with it on trying to keep its balance. Miraculously it got to the point where it was able to sit upright in my hand, this little guy I swear lifted one of its front legs, (like it was waving) then flew away up into the trees. It was so cool! And I mean, look at that sweet face. Now whenevee I hear tge cicadas I imagine it is up there singing with the rest of them!
