Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken across from where I lived at the time. I was with my friend fishing and I just happened to look over and thought to myself, yes, this is why I get up every day. Because the world can be a beautiful place if you don't forget to remember the little things.

Time

The sun was setting that evening, and the fish were biting, jumping around making ripples all over the place.

Lighting

I didn't do anything with the lighting because mother nature took care of all that herself.

Equipment

I just had my phone with me that day. So I decided to take some pictures of the sun as it was setting.

Inspiration

I took the photo because my friend happened to look over at me while I'm feeling in the side of the dock, thinking I had the biggest fish ever. When he said WOW. Check that out. And I turned around and looked. It was a Wow moment that we never wanted to forget

Editing

Not that I remember. I took this a while ago.

In my camera bag

I usually just have my phone. I haven't been able to afford a camera yet. Being a single mom with 3 sons to raise I do the best with what I've got.

Feedback

My advice is, don't forget the little things. Take your partner, yourself, a friend and watch the sunset together. Nothing matters all the time. But the little things shouldn't be forgotten. Bc life is too short at times. And it may be the last sunset you get to watch with someone you love. Always remember the little things
