While photographing grizzlies, this little red fox came out of nowhere just a few feet from where I was shooting. He was just taking a stroll along a nearby game trail, completely unconcerned with my presence. I grabbed a few quick photos, and as quickly as he appeared, he was gone. Foxes are on my list of favorite animals to photograph, and as insignificant as this short encounter was to the fox, I was beyond stoked. There’s nothing like impromptu wildlife encounters.
