Otago in New Zealand has was thrown a mixed bag of rain, snow and hail on the day this image was created. The day ended with one of the most spectacular rainbow displays I've seen anywhere on our planet. I don't tend to photograph rainbows but I did have to stop the car for this one.
The water is part of Otago Harbour that has occasional visits from humpback whales, bottlenose dolphins and large sharks. Octopus, sea lions and fur seals live in the harbour year round.
The opposite bank is the Otago Peninsula which is the only mainland place in the world where a Northern Royal Albatross breeding colony can be seen.
Pretty amazing really!

This is a rare photograph, great job! One thing I would improve, is include just a little more water - because you’re focusing on the little boat in the bottom left, but it’s not noticeable when I first looked at the photograph.
